Useful Links and Resources
Starting your journey with sheep, cattle or even just larger land areas can be overwhelming. I found the below links helpful but you need to consult relevant professionals for your area.

Sheep and Cattle Resources
Integrity Systems: To have livestock you will need a PIC (Property Identification Code) and to understand the NLIS (National Livestock Identification System). This website has lots of helpful information about the compliance obligations of landholders and stock owners but you will likely also need to look at resources within your own State/Territory as well. These requirements apply to all hobby and professional farmers.
Paraboss: information about parasites (including worms, flies and lice) in each region and the drenches that are likely to work.
Feed calculator: Created by NSW DPI it enables you to input different fodders and formulate rations with energy and mineral balance information
Making our Farms Safer: A VFF initiative with tips and free resources on making all aspects of farmwork safer.
Cattle Clobber: halters for sheep, cattle and other farm animals. I use the webbing halters for the sheep. They last well and look brand new after a quick wash.
ICU Small Animal Rugs: rugs for lambs, calves, goats, sheep and cattle.

Sheep specific links
Sheep Medicine Book: Provided by the University of Adelaide Press, this is a reference book for sheep veterinarians and is available free to download. It provides great information about common diseases and treatments.
OSU Small Ruminant Research Unit: Lots of information and resources, including links to other small ruminant research units.

Cattle specific links

Regen Ag Starter: Fantastic website with lots of regenerative farming information.
